Fight night production is where MGH Events does some of its strongest work. The lighting has to serve the ring, the crowd and the cameras at once; the sound has to carry walk-ons, announcements and a loud room; and every cue has to land on time.
MGH Events has produced fight nights at Vale Sports Arena in Cardiff - full truss lighting rigs around the floor, laser and beam effects, haze, PA stacks for walk-on music and announcements, and a DJ booth running the night. Setup, operation through the event and pack-down are all handled by the same team.
You book the venue, MGH Events brings the production. Uplighting to warm up the room, dance floor lighting and effects for the evening, a PA that handles speeches clearly before it handles a party, and DJ services to carry the night from the first dance onwards.
Birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and private parties. Disco and party lighting, lasers, haze and a sound system that suits the space - enough to turn a hall or a function room into somewhere people actually want to dance.
Conferences, awards nights, product launches and company celebrations. Screens and projection for presentations and branding, microphones and PA for speakers, staging and lighting to make the room look considered rather than borrowed.
Firework displays, bonfire nights, community events and shows out in the open. Outdoor events bring their own problems - power, weather, distance and crowds spread across a field - and they need a system with the headroom to cover it.
MGH Events supplies line array sound, lighting towers, searchlight beams and the crew to run the desks live through the display, so the music, the announcements and the show all stay locked together.
Longer-run installations rather than one-night events. MGH Events has lit and wired outdoor ice rinks - LED strip lighting around the boards, moving heads on truss towers, festoon lighting overhead and a sound system to run music across the whole rink.
Installations are built to sit out for the season, then stripped and packed down at the end of the run.
